Fiction > Junior Fiction
Junior Fiction books are designed for young people who are more confident independent readers but not ready for, or interested in, the themes that can be introduced in Middle Grade fiction. These chapter books offer relatable, interesting stories with rich vocabulary to strengthen the reader's independence.
Many books feature main characters of a similar age (7-11) with relatable life scenarios and/or wild and unexpected adventures. They set a strong pace and engage the reader to extend their reading stamina.
