Graphic Novels

Graphic novels rely on a strong mix of images and words, usually in seperate and sequential pieces (like a comic). Books in this category can be helpful for younger readers who are starting to become independent readers but may find less illustrated chapter books too intimidating. The images support the reader and the smaller chunks of text make it feel manageable. Graphic novels are often action packed, funny and have memorable characters.

We have a growing range of graphic novels for younger and older readers to support their engagement with reading.
